At this time, the best, most robust retractable screen is the Freedom Infinity utilising Zipline technology. Put simply, the mesh in the Freedom Infinity can never blow out in the wind. It has been tested to an amazing 290kph, meaning no more fingering the mesh back into the tracks just to maintain protection for flies and mosquitoes. The Freedom Infinity also has a patented braking system which ensures the handbar can stop anywhere in the door or window opening - very safe and very convenient! The FreedomInfinity can span up to 4.5m in one direction (single screen) and an amazing 9.0m as a double screen
Another smart retractable screen is the SouthKorean designed TechRoll. It too is a retained mesh system and will not blow out on the breeze. It's slimline features are popular with clients and are a nice option for French Doors and pulldown windows.
